We were screwing around running around our campsite in the dark shooting each other with Coca Cola and Menthos cannons! OK you know this is going to end badly! All of a sudden a pain induced shreik permiates the night. One of us had met a Yucca rigida up close! As we all gathered around the poor sap had run full throttle into a beautiful but sharp Yucca rigida! After much laughter and some quick seed collection we helped our friend recover. Also known as Blue Yucca, this trunk-forming yucca quickly grows to 12 feet tall with minimal branching. Its distinctive powder blue leaves have a pronounced spine at the tip and form a lovely ball of dense blue leaves. In the summer the blue foliage is complemented by a showy 5 to 6 foot stalk of white flowers. For best growth, provide supplemental water in the summer, and plant in well-drained soils. We offer this amazing plant in one gallon containers while supplies last. Thank you Paul!
