This is our favorite Platycerium! With a brain like shield and antler like leaves, what is not to like about this remarkable fern? Endemic from the East Coast states of Pahang and Trengganu on the Southern Malay Peninsula, this is the smallest Platycerium reaching only a meter across. Platycerium ridleyi reproduces only by spores making it relatively scarce in the trade and highly coveted by collectors. It is named for J. Ridley author of “Ferns of the Malay Peninsula. We offer this rare fern mounted on a Redwood Plaque while supplies last.
