Japanese Cedar

This remarkable dwarf conifer grows in a round, almost basketball shaped form with dark green foliage. In winter with cooler temperatures, the foliage takes on a purple hue that is quite beautiful. Full sun produces best growth results, but it can tolerate some shade. Cryptomeria japonica compressa   preferswell-drained, moist soil. No pruning is ever necessary and spring fertilization is recommended. We offer trees that are already 8” diameter in one gallon containers.
